WDS - Weight distribution system
REVOLUTIONARY PRODUCT FOR WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION
The main task of the system is to transfer a substantial amount of cargo weight to your hip region when the backpack is used with any plate carrier or vest that has a MOLLE belt underneath. It releases the stress from your back, shoulder, neck, and spine. Having to wear a ballistic vest with or without hard ballistic plates is heavy enough, so this solution is helping not to overload your back.
Designed as a two-part adaptor, male + female, it can be attached to any of our backpack series, and any commercially available MOLLE belt, as long as it has two MOLLE rows on the back part. The male adaptor is attached to the backpack's lower MOLLE panel. You can adjust the system to your height by choosing the correct MOLLE row. Attached with four adapter clips with safety hooks, to prevent sliding out, male adaptor securely sits on the bottom of the pack until you choose to connect it to the belt.
The female adaptor is positioned on your combat MOLLE, on the back side under your body armor. The adaptor is formed as a clamp that catches the male part and locks it into place. While locked, the pack can move left and right so the adaptor will not restrict your movement on the horizontal axis. When connecting the male and female adaptor, you will hear a click confirming they are connected, but you will also immediately feel relief in your back and shoulder region, as the adaptor transfers the weight to your hips.
As it is simple to hook up the adaptor and use it, it is even more straightforward and easier to disengage it. Just tilt the pack from your back, and the adaptors will automatically disconnect, with the characteristic ''click'' again, and backpack can be taken off in a matter of seconds. No need to use your hands to disconnect or unhook the adaptor.
